What Muck Inn stores on your device, what each item is for, and how to change your mind.
This policy explains what Muck Inn stores on your device when you use muckinn.co.uk, why, and how to change your mind. It covers cookies and anything else kept in your browser, such as local storage, because the rules are the same for both.
Some of what we store is needed for the site to work at all — signing you in, keeping your basket, taking payment safely. That does not need your permission, and it cannot be turned off from inside the site. Everything else does need your permission, and is not loaded until you give it.
Muck Inn runs no analytics and no advertising. Nothing here tracks you across other websites, builds a profile of you, or is shared with advertisers.
The first time you visit, you are asked. You can accept everything, refuse everything that is not strictly necessary, or choose category by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and the site works either way — refuse maps and the farm map is still drawn, from OpenStreetMap, which stores nothing on your device.
Your choice is remembered for six months. If we add anything new to the list below, we ask again rather than assume the old answer covers it.

Loads the interactive map on a farm page from Google. Without it you still get a map, drawn from OpenStreetMap, which stores nothing on your device.

Some parts of a page are served by other companies, which means your browser makes a request to them and they see your IP address. The following store nothing on your device:
Payments are handled by Stripe on their own form; Google Maps is described in the table above. Both set out what they store in their own notices.
Use the button above at any time. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings — if you block the strictly necessary ones, you will not be able to stay signed in or complete a booking.
Withdrawing consent stops anything non-essential loading from that point. Anything a third party already stored stays until it expires or you clear it in your browser; their own notices explain how.
